Jala Jala Treats was founded by Sharon Brindley who is a Yamatji/Noongar woman, who grew up on Bunurong/Boon Wurrung country (Mornington Peninsula, Victoria).
Jala Jala Treats is a 100% owned indigenous company that aims to celebrate the flavours of our First Nations People, and specialises in creating treats with a unique Australian character. Like its name, Jala Jala, they make ‘very good’ chocolates celebrating native ingredients. In the Wajarri Language, Jala Jala means ‘Very Good’.
The Jala Jala Treats have a Wattleseed Mylk Dark Chocolate and a Finger Lime Dark Chocolate. They pair beautifully with many of the blends from The Chai Room so if you want to taste some treats that encapsulate Native Australia’s essence, then we recommend the ‘Classic Chai & Chocolate Box’ or our ‘Adventurous Chai & Chocolate Box’.
